Everything else in Springfield seems secondary to the fact that Abe Lincoln practiced law here. Kentucky & Indiana have sites, but Springfield is the place to go for Lincoln history. This weekend marked the 1st time I showed up to the car rental counter only to be told that they were out of cars. I had to wait an hour and was given a huge SUV, which I barely felt comfortable driving.
