Happy Halloween!
The last 2 nights have been amazing! I'll always be able to say that I saw the last 2 shows at the legendary Philadelphia Spectrum. Tonight, Pearl Jam played for 200 minutes. I never saw Bruce Springsteen play that long! For one of the encores, they came out dressed as DEVO and played WHIP IT. They didn't do any SLAYER covers, but you can always count of SLAYER to come up with creative t-shirts 555 (ha ha ha)!

Statue of 3 lies?
Last month, I drove up to New England. This time I wanted to try it without a car. After a Bruce Springsteen concert at the Meadowlands (where he played DARKNESS from start to finish), I drove to Newark Penn Station and parked my car. I took the midnight (slow) train up to Boston. I was able to sleep most of the way. I stayed in Cambridge and had no problem getting around and seeing everything I wanted to. I took the Acela Express back and like Blockbuster Video.......wow, what a difference! As close to European train travel as we are going to get any time soon, lol.

Nice day trip from Boston
I took the MBTA from Boston to Salem. It was a short easy ride to a place I always wanted to see. It's amazing how irrational people can be when they feel threatened.

Back up to Boston
For me, Boston is one of those cities that never gets old. Like New York & D.C., you need to ditch the car to really appreciate it. That's what I did this time and I'm glad!
