So much for hanging out in Istanbul and relaxing all week.

I slept in a cave.....it sounds so much more daring than it actually was. It was basically a hotel that looked different on the outside. My favorite part of my stay there was sitting on the couch with the family that owned the hotel & watching Turkish TV with them.

Another thing I remember about my stay in this "cave" was listening to Ice-T's ICEBERG cd in my room. I still consider that one of my favorite albums.

On this trip I was determined to eat according to the Spanish schedule. No malls or Hard Rock Cafe! I have no problem with this around lunch time, but I'm often in bed by 8PM. Well, I managed. The food wasn't memorable, but I had a nice stay in Madrid.
