Betty Ford died the night before I arrived here. It would have been nice to see the Library, but I was really in MI to see more of Detroit.

Happy 4th of July from Mount Rushmore!!
Ok, Mount Rushmore was one of those places to check off my "to do" list. I'm glad I got to see it, but I don't intend to ever go back. It was inconvenient and expensive to get here & food options are not the best. Yes, for me, rural areas are nice to visit, but get boring fast. Rapid City kept me busy for an afternoon and the statues on the streets were a nice surprise as well.
